Indoor Air Quality Solutions in Dallas

Dallas routinely ranks among the worst allergy cities in America — cedar in winter, oak and ragweed the rest of the year, plus ozone days that trap it all indoors. Your HVAC system circulates every bit of it through your home about twenty times a day. That makes it either your biggest air-quality problem or your most powerful air-quality tool; the difference is what's installed in it.

Lennox attic air handler with insulated ductwork and condensate lines

Filtration, UV, and fresh-air equipment mounts at the air handler, where all of your home's air passes through.

We design whole-home solutions rather than selling gadgets: high-MERV media filtration sized so it doesn't choke your airflow, active purification for viruses and odors, UV lamps that keep the evaporator coil biologically clean, and humidity control for our swampy springs. Every recommendation starts with an assessment of your actual house — pets, allergies, duct condition — not a catalog page.

What's included

  • Whole-home media filtration (MERV 11–16) properly sized for airflow
  • Active air purification for allergens, viruses, VOCs, and odors
  • UV coil lamps that stop mold growth at the source
  • Whole-home dehumidification for humid Dallas springs
  • ERV/fresh-air ventilation options for tight newer homes
  • Duct sealing to keep attic dust out of your supply air

How it works

  1. 01

    Air quality assessment

We look at your filtration, duct sealing, humidity readings, and specific complaints — allergies, dust, odors, stuffiness.

  2. 02

    Layered recommendation

Filtration first, then purification, then humidity — in the order that gives you the most improvement per dollar.

  3. 03

    Clean installation

Most IAQ equipment installs in a few hours, integrated invisibly into your existing system.

  4. 04

    Follow-up check

We verify static pressure and performance after install, and set your filter-change schedule.

We recently had an AC unit replaced with Strike Force and couldn't be happier! Toby did an excellent job helping us select a unit that met all our needs. It has fixed our humidity issue. The price for the job was very competitive, the install went very smoothly and everything was left clean.

They came out and fixed our A/C same day, on a Sunday, when it was 103 outside.

This company is great! They text and let you know when on the way. They are available for weekend and late emergencies. They show you the damaged parts and have replacement parts with them. Can't say enough good things about StrikeForce!

Indoor Air Quality FAQs

Will a better filter fix my allergies?

It's the right first step. A properly sized MERV 13 media filter captures most pollen and dander — but 'properly sized' is critical, because slapping a restrictive 1-inch high-MERV filter into a standard rack can starve your airflow and hurt the system.

Are UV lights worth it?

For the coil, yes — a UV lamp keeps the perpetually-damp evaporator coil free of the mold film that causes musty AC smells in humid climates like ours. As a whole-air sterilizer, their value is more limited; we'll be straight with you about the difference.

Why is my house so humid in spring?

Mild-but-muggy Dallas springs mean your AC doesn't run long enough to wring moisture out of the air. A variable-speed system or a dedicated whole-home dehumidifier solves it properly.

What actually removes dust the fastest?

In most Dallas homes: sealing leaky return ducts (which suck in attic dust) plus upgraded media filtration. It's usually a duct problem wearing a filter costume.
